When we first featured Joo Yeong-bae as a Contributor of the Month exactly one year ago, his collection offered a compelling look at South Korea’s varied terrain from the air. One year later, his portfolio has expanded dramatically, and so has the clarity of his artistic vision.
Since joining 360Cities in 2017, Joo has published a remarkable 686 panoramas and 6 stunning 360º videos, with a clear focus on aerial photography. His lens continues to hover above South Korea’s hills, coasts, and countryside, offering viewers a calm, sunlit view of places both familiar and tucked away. Joo has an Expert badge.
In June alone, he published 58 new panoramas, nearly all of them captured from above, and many bathed in the sharp light of early summer. It’s a growing collection that offers not only visual beauty but a genuine sense of place.
