Escape Studios is delighted to congratulate James Hothi whose short film “Crawl Space” has won an Honourable Mention in the category of Best Animated Short at the Art Film Awards.
James Hothi produced and directed the short film, and did all the animation and FX work. This is the third festival award for Crawl Space.
Crawl Space was completed as part of the MA 3D Animation, in which animation students work on short film projects, simulating as closely as possible the environment and pipeline of a real animation studio. The project was supervised by veteran animator Kevin Richards.

Crawl Space was animated in Maya, rendered in Arnold, and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
