The Resilient One

The Resilient One by Cami Checketts is the first book I’ve read by the author.It’s a contemporary romance written from a dual perspective. The main characters are Alyssa and Beck.

Alyssa is a photographer working independently. Beck is on vacation in Maui.Alyssa has photographed Beck for a magazine. Beck has no memory of it.

I enjoyed the pace and storyline of the book. All the personalities of the characters had me laughing.Some points of the plot could be triggering. I will read more by Cami Checketts. I rate the book a 7 out of 10.
